Ahh i see what your saying. Yah i hated the powder coat paint on mine so spending the $50 to get it repainted was a good investment. Even though that voids the warranty, but there so strong they'll prolly never break.

haha I just can't wait for summer when I have $ and all 3 of my bikes are all up and running. My bmx bars are broke and the rear wheel is ALMOST smashed to shit, think I can only get about 1 more truing out of it. My Quake has that 66 problem...And my marin hardtail is waiting for a transfusion of $813 to make it a 26lb 4x beast. Basically going to be dropping 2 lbs off what it is now, and almost every bit is off the wheels and tires (and they are getting stronger) . Bought to have a dialed lineup when I get back to school
